We would like to thank everyone who shared their ‘Golden Moments’ with the nation by posting funny, moving and entertaining memories online. A grand prize draw has now been held and a lucky winner picked at random from all the entries received.

A big congratulations goes to Phil Holland from Tunbridge Wells, who sent in his Golden Moment about his playful ginger kitten, Jasper. Phil wins a 14 night, holiday of a lifetime to Australia with his partner. They will enjoy 10 nights in Brisbane’s glittering Gold Coast and 4 nights in Sydney with £2,000 spending money and a car on hand to explore the sites.

Cat lover Phil who is also a keen scuba diver said: “Winning this competition is a dream come true. I saw it advertised on a pack of Golden Drummers and just knew I had to enter. My cat Jasper is very special to me and I will always remember him as a cheeky and loveable kitten, which is why I chose the picture as my Golden Moment, it always puts a smile on my face”.

Before embarking on his trip to Australia, Phil took a journey down memory lane when he received his prize from the original Golden Drummers’ ‘Mum’. Rita Gerza, the actress who played the original ‘Mum’ in the famous Golden Drummers TV advertisement made a surprise appearance in London to congratulate Phil.
